Message Passing InterfaceThe API of High Performance Computing
Message Passing Interface (MPI) was introduced in to the general public as a 1.0 standard in June, 1994. Since then it has become the de facto standard for high performance computing, especially when using clusters. MPI abstracts process to process communication to make it easier to solve a single problem with multiple processes running in parallel. Below are links to my presentation and references.
